CFS, Rank Advancement, and CTL
CTL hopes you will embrace your teaching stewardship as a scholarly endeavor worthy of continued investigation and refinement. Your Teaching & Learning Consultant can help you plan, implement, evaluate, and document your efforts to improve student learning; create an inspiring learning environment; and engage in a personal program of continuous improvement. Recording these activities each semester will streamline your work as you prepare for Continuing Faculty Status (CFS) and rank advancement review.
Your consultant can provide editorial assistance as you prepare your teaching portfolio; however, CTL is not directly involved the rank and status process and does not provide summative evaluations or recommendations.
