Tom Mallory

Senior Developer

Tom Mallory is a senior developer and architect several applications, including BYU Learning Suite, the Learning Outcomes application, Student Ratings, the Mid-Course Evaluation tool, and BYU Flashcards.

Tom’s expertise includes application development, usability, Adobe Director Development, interactive Adobe Flash, as well as C#, C++, Objective C, JAVA, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and various other server and Web-based languages.

Prior to his current position, Tom worked as the lead developer on the Academic Technology Development team with responsibility for Blackboard, Course Management, Learning Outcomes accreditation site, and Student Ratings.

Tom joined CTL as a full-time employee in 2006. Prior to joining CTL, he spent 12 years at Novell as an engineering manager over the Novell Storage Group and 12 years at WordPerfect Corporation managing several different engineering divisions.

Tom loves gardening, building furniture, and working on his HO train layout.
