Career
Bryn St. Clair is an education consultant and researcher specializing in science education, active learning, and faculty development. She currently works with the Center for Teaching and Learning at Brigham Young University, where she supports instructors in designing and implementing student-centered BYU AIMs learning practices. She previously served as Director and Instructor of the NSF-funded STEM Faculty Institute (STEM-FI), where she led initiatives to help university STEM faculty transition from traditional lecture methods to more research-informed instructional approaches.
Dr. St. Clair has extensive experience in both K–12 and higher education, including roles as education psychology consultant, and international experiential learning co-director. She has led study abroad programs focused on STEM education across multiple continents and has provided professional development training to educators and government agencies.
Her scholarly work includes publications on test-enhanced learning, student-centered instruction, faculty adoption of evidence-based teaching practices, and nonfiction science writing for children.
She loves watching students and faculty build meaning, faith, and understanding through experiences.
