Improving Your Teaching Interview
Two members of Brigham Young University’s (BYU’s) Center for Teaching & Learning discuss results of a study in which 300 BYU faculty members identified ways that they improved their overall-course student ratings by one-and-one-half points or more and sustained these improved ratings for at least three semesters. The lead researcher concludes that faculty can significantly improve their teaching performance by focusing on simple, fundamental elements of effective teaching.
